Police are looking into the incident after the body of a malesuspected to be a the local rapper WizDaWizard -- was found on the ground in front of a residence the morning of Friday located in Hallandale Beach. Just before 8am, officers found the dead body inside the back yard adjacent to the house, near Northwest 6th Terrace/10th Street. Multiple social media posts claim that the deceased is rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police have not confirmed the identity of the deceased or stated what caused his death, noting there are "unusual circumstances" regarding the matter. Hallandale Beach Police Department Captain Megan Jones stated that the victim is well known to South Florida residents, but the police aren't releasing his name as of now in order to protect the integrity of the investigation, as well as to ensure that the family is properly informed.
