Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained world-wide recognition for her role in Buffy Summers. In the popular film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played Rebecca Becky Granger. Swanson is a native Californian. Her early years were marked by an desire to act. Her career began working in the field of advertising, appearing in numerous commercials. She first appeared on the screen in 1984 for an NBCs It's Your Move show. Following that, in 1986's romance comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan was the first to debut on the big screen.
