Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most well-known actors. Linney is renowned for playing strong characters but as vulnerable. Her father was a renowned playwright, but Linney was raised as a single child with a single mother and nurse. Through the summer months when she was with her father, Linney developed a passion for theatre. Linney eventually pursued acting first in Brown University then at Juilliard School. In the two years following the graduation, she began the beginning of her Broadway career. The following year, she began her career she was on television.
