Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011. She is best known for her character Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward - a teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov is the youngest daughter and was born in Manhattan. When she was 10, Tarlov began her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th graders who attended the show were very impressed. She studied at Paris at NYU Tisch and then took part in summer camps during her teen years studying Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and trained in many different acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. She also incorporated writing into her show during the LAByrinth Theater master class. Molly swapped her black winter jacket for a pair of black sunglasses and made her way out to Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed when she landed a role with just three words iCarly. Since then, she's appeared in a number of TV shows and played Caitlin, the main character in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family show Huge. Molly says she's great in basketball, but she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
