Annaleigh Amanda Ashford has been an American dancer, actress and vocalist since the mid 1990s. Her career began with Broadway career in musicals like Wicked, Legally Blonde, as well as Hair. The production will be held located at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail (director) and Jeffrey Seller (producer), the same team who produced Hamilton is directing the show. Ashford has been seen most recently in the role of Paula Jones in Ryan Murphy FX show American Crime Story Impeachment. This show is based around the National Crisis which put Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp in the middle of the first impeachment proceeding in America over a Century. Ashford was a part of two seasons on the cult CBS comedy B Positive. Created by Marco Pennette and Chuck Lorre the series also starred legendary actors Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo and Ben Vereen.No stranger to Broadway Ashford has won Tony Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her role as Essie in You Can't Take It with You. Additional Broadway credits for Ashford are Sunday in the Park, with George Wicked legally Blonde, as well as the role of Lauren as Lauren in Kinky Boots.
